    Jays couldn't win a series against the Yankees at home. They had their chance.

    I liked what they did last off-season. Maybe hand out a big contract to either ray or semien and then some short term deals to players with bounce back potential. Syndergaard might be cool for the narrative but he might be cooked. Semien and ray had disappointing seasons but they weren't injury prone.

    Based on his in-game decisions he should be fired. But a big part of a managers job is behind the scenes and maybe he's very good there, I have no idea.

    Do we actually have the payroll room to realistically bring back semien and ray? If we have to choose one I think I'm on the side of bringing back semien just because my baby brain still remembers how Sanchez magically threw strikes as a starter one year and went back to walking everyone the next.
