Let's assume we sign two cast offs named John and Bill Sanchez. Chances are with any luck at all, we're talking about a fraction of a WAR in difference between not having Casey and having Casey.
It's just silly to hang on to guys like this when in the past even the BLUE JAYS have managed to pick up a Colby Rasmus for relievers that have since been forgotten. Trade them all, give a bunch of guys a chance and invest in a rotation rather than a bunch of volatile bullpen arms.
