Over the last four years vs RHP: 2013 (SSS): .391 wOBA 2012: .343 wOBA 2011: .330 wOBA 2010: .357 wOBA Career numbers are obviously skewed upward by that great 2009 year. Being a defensive liability, he is clearly not worth the money (especially with how tight our payroll will be). I think it's more likely we see AA try to work out a long-term extension with Johnson to capitalize on his injury plagued season than to see him dealt.

The word superstar is thrown around wayyy too much. Jose has been on fire and looks like his old self... but the superstar label should be reserved for those who do absolutely everything well. Justin Verlander is a superstar. Bryce Harper is a superstar.
