  1. Work the count Goins. Goal is to get him near 50 pitches this inning. Let's go.
  2. That's not even true though. Look at his WPA's over the last two seasons. He's had maybe three excellent starts? He only threw 6 innings in 6/16 starts over that period as well. He's almost on the wrong side of 30 as well. Things aren't going to get any better for him. Happ is clearly more useful than Brandon Morrow moving forward.
  3. Terrible AB. Good inning though. 28 pitches.. Up by 3. I'll take it.
  4. Rasmus stop f***ing swinging at balls a foot off the plate.
  5. If Juan Bomb could go on a bit of a tear... that'd be nice.
  6. 3-0 count with a fairly weak lineup coming up... No brainer to give him the green light there.
  7. Now the goal is to run Kuroda's pitch count up. Get him up to 30 this inning please.
  8. Omg f***ing baited him to throw a strike Vintage Joey Bats there.
  9. Get the pitch count up. Get a couple runs on the board. No dicking around here. Get it done Bautista.
  10. Yes Melky This run HAS to score. Just get the ball in the air. Do not strikeout.
  11. That last series at YS was probably the most excruciating thing to sit through. Hoping for a better one this time around. FFS Kawa
  12. How the hell is it even possible to lose 16 straight at one park? The odds of that happening have to be astronomical.
  13. Or, ya know, everyone could just pay for their own.
  14. Won't hold my breath but you're right. Might be able to get a few decent weeks out of the pen from him (but in reality that'll be like ~10 innings of work... Not even worth discussing).
  15. 10M option next year. He's done as a Jay unless they bring him back at a huge discount (unlikely).
  16. We have two months of baseball left and this was his FIRST TIME throwing off a mound in three months. It's going to take weeks to build any type of strength back up/rehab assignments, etc. He always has some type of "setback" as well. The timeline is just too tight. Take him to the glue factory.
  17. Right now our best pitcher is clearly Stroman.
  18. Pretty sure you said the same thing to me when I said Santos' time here is done. Aging, broken down diabetic. He's done. Reliever or bust at this point.
