    Their pythag W/L record pins them at a mediocre 82-80. We're at 91-71. They're bottom half in both Offensive and Pitching WAR, and have a +8 RD. They're playing on luck, has there been a team in MLB history with a better record in 1 run games? This is worse than KC level BS, the numbers say we should handle them easy.

    Liriano according to Wilner was tossing/stretching inbetween innings for 3 half-innings before Osuna came in. And when Osuna came in he started hurling in the pen. So he literally was moving and warming his arm slowly for 3 half innings then warming up fully for an inning and a third before Osuna got injured and Liriano got as much time as needed. This was super great. Lets not forget that he got a side session in, in Boston when Osuna was pitching the 9th

    Well when you have literally 4+ million showing up to the ballpark, and at least a million more visiting ballparks in America... you're looking at 5 million independent people. And I don't care what country we the 5 million fans are from, that's 5 million possible incidents (i know its not 5 million unique people). I'm surprised that it's that low of a number of people causing problems, we should be happy.

    But it does raise a discussion. Obviously no throwing at the head should be happening (or throwing at people in the postseason) BUT how will the players handle the situation? Especially since all I saw on SN yesterday with the interviews and our panel + 590 this morning amping up the bloodshed between the two teams? I mean while it's not in the nature of Gibby to retaliate by injuring another player, the last half an hour that was played between the two teams resulted in Bautista being hit by a pitch, then hit by a bitch... and Bannister seems the type of guy who loves war and retaliation, how will both teams handle this?

    No way I'd swap stro out. I like Liriano in the pen anyways and he can spot start or come into a game where a starter loses it for some reason. Gives us a chance to boot Feldman too and put in Barnes with his sexy reverse splits
