Er I know the alleged murder he confessed to that people used to always bring up when someone brings up Cobb was in self defence, but wasn't he known to have altercations with his team-mates and also once went into the stands and beat up a handicapped guy for heckling him? I don't think his negative reputation was unearned -

Right but I listened to the agent every time he talked, he went from thinking Edwin will get more than the Jays were offering to willing to settle, but by the time he came back around the report I read said that we pulled the deal off the table. Which makes sense we signed 2 players who play the same position as EE. We moved on faster than expected. So we may never know

Lol hey I'm not making anyone as the villain, I'm just calling his agent s***, Edwin turned down more guaranteed money/years and stay at a place he liked (or so he said). He literally did not do his job well

True. Honestly I think we also just moved on, by the time they came around on the deal we already filled 1B and DH, no place to put him

Why I assume is because Edwin publicly said he wanted to be back and at the end of the winter meetings his agent made a public plea for Toronto to resign him after the report came out that no one was offering more than 3/60, what I'm saying isn't far fetched and isn't something that hasn't happened before..

Right I know what you're saying he it was his call but his Agent probably told him to turn it down to get more money elsewhere... clearly that wasn't the case. This screams what happened with Steven Drew a few years ago when he turned down the Boston offer and he signed back for less and it came out that he turned it down because Boras told him he'll get money elsewhere

You forgot the fact that he's going to play in Cleveland of all places. He went from 4/80 guaranteed in playing for a city that he liked and is not a total dump to 3/65 (potentially 4/80) guaranteed. His agent totally dropped the ball

My Bautista jersey is the one with the 2015 postseason logos on the sleeves so hell yeah I'll keep wearing it Its fine to wear any old jays players or jays jerseys in general. Except the black ones -

There's nothing wrong with spending money on things you like lol... I love spending money on clothes, I got a Moose Knuckle jacket and man it's better than any other jacket I've ever owned. I also really want to buy a Gucci Belt (that's next up). As far as I see it, if you make enough money to pay your bills and have some extra left you can spend on yourself from time to time
