    No I didn't notice the suspension bar snap that caused both my tires to ride and wear on the insides and shred while I was driving 120k on the highway. As for spending less on baseball tickets and more on a reliable car. The car has been more than reliable. Only a couple problems over the course of 10 years. Nothing, major, major. As for making minimum wage. Seeing that my scummy, minimum wage bredgren keep begging for more, its okay by me. I just sit back and enjoy the ride. I'm happy making minimum wage, along with the pension plan and benefits.

    Hahaha....after I put the spare on and started driving and the noise came back. I was like "maybe if I drive slowly on the shoulder I can make it to Detroit in time". But that was just crazy thoughts.

    It's kinda s*** that the costs are all hitting me at once. But if the suspension bar was gonna break, or was broken/damaged it was gonna need to be done anyways. The tires would've also needed to be replaced. And if I have to eat $160 due to the loss of going to the game.....that's the cost and missing the game that bugs me most. Just glad it didn't go in Detroit.

    Yeah I had no time. When I saw the first tire was bald to the wires and that's where the noise was coming from, I changed it thinking I'd solved the problem. When I went to drive again the noise and driveability of the car was brutal. Got out and saw the 2nd rear tire was also bald to the wires. CAA guy noticed the broken suspension bar and it was pretty much game over at that point.

    By the time I got my car towed home it was 4:30. I could've borrowed someone's car, but I would've been driving like a maniac to get to the game, which is out of the question.

    Well, looks like I paid $160 to watch todays ALCS game from the comfort of my own home, opposed to being at the game. f***ing suspension bar on my car broke on the way to the game. Rear tires worn down the wire, almost shredded, car undriveable.

    Alex should let the contracts we're tied into run their course. Why trade players we have for future assets.

    If Beeston had any say or push on Alex in on field moves, I absolve Alex of a large chunk of the blame. A non-baseball friendly President needs to set his priorities straight and worry about Bobble head promo days & Jr. Jays kids running the bases. If he wants to impose his non-baseball mind on the GM, then he should come out and say, "we're changing our team direction to be just like the Phills & Angels, because we have a muppet fanbase and I'm trying to sell tiketz."

    I'd rather the team be extremely financially flexible (young) and be able to snag a free agent they desire, whenever they choose. Eventually as more prospects click the team gets better, and you keep picking up the nice odd complimentary free agent, then you turn the prospects who click, over like Tampa does once free agency is impending for another haul of prospects. Tampa doesn't care that David Price has been a apart of the Rays franchise for the past 5, 6 years. The Rays will move Price for a bevy of prospects and use the money saved on Price to fill a hole elsewhere.

    If Detroit sweeps the Sox, no because its Game 5. But if it gets to Game 5, my ticket is bought and paid for. Also looking at WS tickets right now. I'm gonna make it a yearly thing to get to as many playoffs/WS games I can.

    I'm pretty sure he knows who they are as well. They were playing in the only years Beeston can remember out of his life, '92 & '93. The man has issues and needs to be put out of his misery.

    I would've liked for this to happen, but this franchise seems so wrapped up emotionally in the players it acquired. The trade for Dickey happens. Dickey pitches 2013 coming off a 2012 CY year, getting paid 5M this year, taking advantage of his ultra low salary.......(present day) This off season Alex deals Dickey and his 12M multi year deal for the best package of prospects he can land and uses the money he would've spent on 4 million year old RA to spend towards Tanaka. I'd be very happy with that risk.
