  1. I'm watching the game and impressed with how much trouble the angels are having squaring up the baseball.... even when he doesn't have his best stuff (slider) working and having trouble locating, he is getting outs Your bias is showing
  2. Care to elaborate? Again... a fly ball double that a decent outfielder gets to and a home run by one of the best hitters in AL... other than that, the Angels haven't been able to do much
  3. he's getting it done regardless.... this is why you keep sending him out there, when he's in a groove he's virtually unhittable
  4. D-Mac K But damn he is throwing 75% junk.... much different from last game
  5. He gives up a fly ball double that any decent OF would get to, and a home run to the 2nd best hitter in AL..... Gas can??
  6. Moseby ahead of Wells quite easily. Moseby had 6.9 WAR in 1984
  7. Sounds like a young Chris Carpenter
  8. Exactamundo.... need a mop-up and extra innings guy to avoid wearing down the bullpen.... its not a sprint, its a marathon Rogers is very mediocre but he gives you innings
  9. how can you guys be *******s to one another when the score is 12-3
  10. f*** it would be better to hear he is hurt..... and not suckage
  11. Not worried about McGowan. He will give a solid 6 of work.
  12. Alvarez 6 hit shutout for Marlins AA got fleeced
  13. Even if Morrow can get reasonably healthy again, he can't seem to pitch more than 5 innings. In other words, an injury prone, past his prime starter that taxes the bullpen when healthy. Worth a $9M gamble? Jays have several months to decided, but at this point.... NO
  14. I said early on that EE looks fatter this year than last. He might be headed to an off season folks. Damn imagine how many runs this offence would score if EE returns to form.
  15. ******** stat then, or more time needed to stabilize. Lies, damn lies, and statistics.
  16. True dat. But the similarities in using velocity and movement to induce weak contact are there. Give McGowan a bit more time to get comfortable and the walks will go down.
  17. Morrow still have the best pitching saberstats?
  18. Cry to the authorities is one option, the other is to man up and admit you were wrong.
  19. By Halladay'esque I mean it was efficient. For most of his career, Halladay pitched to (weak) contact. That's what McGowan did today.
  20. Hey we gave Stro Super Two status for that.... way to f***ing go AA!
  21. It was a damn good start... Halladay'esque
