  1. Felt more like a Triple A park. You felt closer to the players/the action then you do in RC
  2. That's an insult to Sanchize!
  3. go back to the rays board
  4. Jays are putting bums in the seats with the current team Hence, trading futures for what will probably be short term assets would be a dumb business move If anything they should be making moves to get younger
  5. Saw some posts the other day " there are dumb GMs out there that still think Sanchez is a top prospect " I say those are dumb posters Sanchez is a special pitching talent - ace material (same thing said about McGowan some years ago, mind) f*** would I ever rather have Syndergaard over Dickey tho
  6. Wat's strange about it? Sanchez has the best stuff of the 3 by far... it was only a question of control. Based on tonight, if the control is there, he is going to be dominant.
  7. I've been consistent in Sanchez > Stroman Will be vindicated Stroman very good, but Sanchez will be great
  8. Happ has value. Jays could trade him tonight for a decent return. Couple of B grade prospects.
  9. Pick up the option and trade him
  10. Yankees - where decrepit, broken ballplayers go to die
  11. best time for sanchez to make his debut is with the jays down some runs, not protecting a lead low pressure btw Gose with a .340 OBP after 126 AB - isn't 140 AB the SSS threshold? He's on my 2015 opening day roster, no question.
  12. Been to DR 8x. Had ear infection first visit, but other than that, no issues. Keep in mind DR is one of the poorest countries on the planet. They can't afford the conditions we take for granted. A few common sense precautions is all it takes - eat cooked food only, bite into lime (kills certain bugs), brush teeth with purified water, keep mouth closed in shower, and if you really want to be cautious, drink a bit of pepto bismol each morning to coat your stomach lining.
  13. went to a bunch of games at the Ex - a ridiculous baseball park, and in the evening could get quite cold with breeze off the lake heeerrrre's Johnny!! (Mayberry)
  14. AA would by happy if Bautista asks for trade, he can plug a few holes without the appearance of giving up on the season..... Seattle can have him for the haul Jays would get
  15. $100M budget means a competitive team is only possible with half the team cost controlled trade everyone not named Lawrie, Hutch, Stroman, and Edwin (good contract) target position player targets that are ~2 years away.... consistent with when Jays many pitching prospects start yielding gems
  16. Agree but if he starts in and dominates AA in 2015 we could see him in Sept 2015 which would be awesome, no?
  17. Osuna finish the year in Dunedin? if he does he could be up as soon as next year... he did pitch in Mexico's pro league after all at 16 y.o.
  18. His value is so high cuz of the contract it makes too much sense to move him for youth
  19. Damn, I was hoping for Snider
  20. For example would Seattle move Saunders, Franklin, and an A grade pitching prospect for Bautista?
  21. Unless said player returns his replacement, ++
  22. As is being argumentative for no reason
  23. why not trade one of Bats or EE to extend the years of contention? remember what happened the year after Halladay was traded? Romero, Cecil, Morrow, and Marcum were one of the better SP 4some in AL Attendance dropped a bit but 2 years after Halladay was traded attendance was back to where it was in his final year trading Bats is not that big of a deal... a lot of fans don't even like the guy!
  24. It would be stupid..... young dynamic players put more bums in the seats then boring old veterans..... look at Dickey, the 'proven' pitcher.... no one wants to watch his gimmicky pitching anymore Prime example is Lawrie - young, dynamic, brought many new fans to the Jays
