  1. There's a 2 year age diff
  2. 2013 his BB/9 was 2.85 in 33 games in AAA. Not looking at his 2014 stats, he was pitching hurt... surgery in august 2014
  3. Was hurt last year. Was very good in 2013, 9K/9, 0.6 HR/9 in AAA. Recovery going well, according to reports. Could be a Sept callup
  4. We will see how it plays out.
  5. Castro in the pen is a waste. Stilson and Sanchez, among others in the pen. Castro in rotation, Osuna swingman. The 6th starter typically starts ~20 games in a season.
  6. Pillar is a MLB'er, just not as good as he thinks he is. Which can cause a problem. Needs to accept his role without complaint.
  7. Any reports on his D? Don't want Rajai level D from a 4th OF
  8. Great to see DSJ making the adjustment to AA and showing power at the plate Pillar replacement. One less douche
  9. No reason for Pillar to hissy fit.... he'll get his reps
  10. At minimum..... GOAT is very possible
  11. If Hoffman is as good as the reports, he isn't going anywhere until he increases his value by dominating A+ Maybe part of a trade deadline deal but hope not
  12. DSJ with a double and walk today. OBP ~.360 He's only 22, in AA
  13. He's 22 with lights out stuff. You run him out there every 5th day, coach him, and if he has even average control, he is dominating
  14. Estrada maybe. Osuna when he is stretched out, yes. The others, no. Francis? C'mon
  15. Of course not. Previous start was 3 walks in 5 1/3. 3 earned runs. Two straight starts he's given the Jays a chance to win. A couple of more outs and it's 2 QS in his first 3 MLB starts. Way too early to replace him with Estrada or send him down to AAA, like some have said.
  16. If he averages 7 walks, 2 ER in 5 1/3 for the next 10 starts, I'll be happy
  17. You were saying, meat?
  18. Sanchize We can look forward to this for the next several years
  19. so much kneejerk reaction in these posts Sanchez is 22 and like Norris is going to be quite inconsistent, from game to game and inning to inning.... that is normal for young pitchers Sanchez reminds me of a young Chris Carpenter, velocity, movement, wildness - unhittable one inning, blowup the next Some patience would be appreciated
