Have to LOL at some of this stuff If Castro was in Lansing or Dunedin right now where he belongs, and dominating as expected, he would be ranked higher than Hoffman, even with the nice extended spring reports Hoffman is getting. Yet because Castro struggling in MLB, where he shouldnt be in the first place, he's one of three going to the Phillies for Hamels. LOL ps. can a mod please sticky the board's BJ prospect ranking

They have been comparable, and given the sample size, no one can favour one over the other. Besides, pointy head, Sanchez would go to the bullpen before he goes to AAA. Norris to AAA is not a demotion, he needs to work on things.

Not what i said. Playoffs would be great, but no guarantee even with Hamels and Papelbon. Trading the future and missing the playoffs would be a disaster. The probability of making the playoffs (and winning the WS) is much higher through several years of contending with a young team than it is with an old team and gutted farm.

If AA does indeed need to make the postseason in order to keep his job, that scares the s*** out of me. Jays have the youth on the team and on the farm to contend for many years, god forbid AA go all in and trade half of it away. Stroman, Hoffman, Norris could be special.
