  1. When Jays are contenders will depend on the development of the prospect pitchers.
  2. The one with Franco and Adell and more for a bunch of old players? Very briefly.
  3. Only reason you won is I had like 7 guys suddenly on the DL going into the playoffs I'll be cashing in Adell or J-Rod for pitching to make sure you don't steal a playoff H2H from me again
  4. Jorge Polanco, Nico Hoerner, Michael Lorenzen for Manny Machado Picked up Polanco for free in late 2018 and Lorenzen for free in 2019, so good roster management. C - Jorge Alfaro 1B - Josh Bell 2B - Luis Urias SS - Corey Seager 3B - Manny Machado CF - Victor Robles RF - Bryon Buxton LF - Juan Soto UT - Nelson Cruz Bench - Yandy Diaz, Austin Riley, ?, ? It's a monster
  5. Ah i can approve my own trades?
  6. Josh Bell (1B), Corey Seager (SS), Yandy Diaz (1B/3B) all with significant splits. Getting Machado (3B/SS) really gives a lot of lineup flexibility.
  7. A very even pool for next year's MiLB draft.
  8. Can a commish please approve the trade so I can fap all day?
  9. Is EE your no. 1 offseason target?
  10. Sure, but he should be a target further down the list
  11. To simplify things, I suggest: A) must have hit MLB (put significant promotions on waivers) any player that has hit AA or above eligible in waiver draft As far as green flag eligibility limits, similar to Abom I suggest no restrictions. Players that are still being demoted after exceeding the current thresholds are likely cuts at MiLB draft time anyway, if not prior.
  12. Ya, I get that some of you have a sentimental nature, but c'mon a successful baseball team is run using the head, not the heart.
  13. Ya i don't agree with Jeff Sullivan, and Hoerner is not a small piece to close the gap
  14. : Jorge Polanco and Nico Hoerner for Manny Machado…. which side do you like? Jeff Zimmerman: Without any more context, the Polanco side. At this point Polanco and Machado are nearly a wash so might as well add Hoerner.
  15. some fantasy rankings have polanco and machado pretty close, others have machado ahead but not by a lot. hoerner more than closes any gap
  16. You say projecting prospects has a wide margin for error. So one person's opinion is as good as another. So why crap on L54's opinion.
  17. which side do you prefer
  18. yes Have Seager and Polanco at SS, and Nelson Cruz at UT. Sitting either Seager or Polanco every game is a waste, and Machado has 3B eligibility Need Hurl to be reasonable here.... I'm not giving up more than Polanco and Hoerner for Machado
  19. They seem to be focusing on pitching this offseason, and rightfully so. I don't think this FO is trying to contend in 2020. If another year does not result in an emergence of in house options to a regular OF, an addition can be made next offseason. Will also be interesting to see if Groshans can elevate to AA and be knocking at the door as soon as 2021 as some evaluators believe.
  20. 26 man roster probably may see the Sox carry 3 catchers, and Grandal with a fair bit of DH time to keep him healthy.
  21. Obviously with the 26 man roster next season, easier for a team like the BJ to pick and stash a rule 5 guy who spends a lot of time throwing in the bullpen A guy like Luis Oviedo for example
  22. What would it take to get Jesus Aguilar, not a bad target for the Jays
  23. Trying to sort out something that works for Machado. Brainstorming on Jorge Polanco, Nico Hoerner, Austin Riley types. Can you give us a sense of how much you expect for Manny?
  24. 70 grade control on SWR is huge
