  1. Wrong thread.
  2. Yes, was/is a very stupid org. Even the Dog could do a better job.
  3. Not sure, Orioles have virtually zero assets of value.
  4. The only bad results with this FO has been the result of holding onto some assets too long.
  5. Yes, I think bullpen and 1B/DH are the priorities now and there are FA for both. Suspect the Jays are fine with a Gurriel, Hernandez, Grichuk, Fisher OF.
  6. Includes $14M for Tulo and $12.4M for "Other pre-arbitration players" which seems high? Also assumes the Ryu $80M is equally split over 4 years. Hopefully this is front loaded.
  7. Off the top of my head, only the BJ Ryan contract did not return surplus value.
  8. How does it make sense from the Dodgers perspective? All I can think of is they figure they can't possibly fit all of their assets onto the roster. Kinda like Tucker with the Astros x4.
  9. A very good offseason so far. Every move has been good value and leaves room for further acquisitions now or during season. Should expect 1 or 2 bullpen pieces and if price is reasonable, I would not be surprised if both EE and Castellanos are signed.
  10. If its about the bat, he has averaged 120 wRC+ the past 4 years, and is entering his peak. That bat plays at 1B
  11. 3B usually can transition to 1B without problem He's 6'4" a nice big target
  12. Castellanos is 27, still unsigned, and would be fine at 1B All he takes is money, no assets
  13. I suspect Jake Lamb could be had for very little. Was a non-tender candidate. 29 yrs old. A bounceback candidate after the injuries the past few years. But yes Dominic Smith would be ideal. Crime Dog 2.0
  14. EE is fine as a 1 yr seat filler. Just hope EE on a 1 year deal at age 37 works out better than Bats on a 1 year deal at age 37.
  15. Yes, friendo. Like, Bundy is hovering on my cut line and he's projected to be far better. Good luck!
  16. He's a borderline keeper in a 20 team.
  17. Took 10 seconds. The two most risky signings are relievers and guys far along the aging curve. You wanted to sign Bautista to a 5 year deal in 2016, and want to sign Giles to a 3 year deal. Risk taker you sure are.
  18. Alrighty.... thanks to Spanky for doing this and alleviating his boredom. Win-win.
  19. Is the waiver wire order renewed each year or carried over. The waiver order is still shown in Yahoo. PlaceCalledVerdugo, JG34, and Kingfiller are the top 3 on Yahoo.
  20. I just looked up your 2016 posts advocating signing Bautista to a 5 year deal, after he came out with his 7 year 150 million demand.
  21. Giles would fetch more after he shows a healthy arm in spring training / when the season starts. Expect every team interested in Giles has concerns about his arm health.
  22. tldr - anything can happen in 2020
  23. I don't think the present team is 95 loss level terrible, but would finish under .500 IMO
  24. What is wrong with you? You have better things to do then BJMB
  25. I've been mulling over a trade of Adell to you for two of your prospects, which would solve your problem.
