  1. Doubtful in Pache case. He more likely hit like JBJ with better defense
  2. Don't be sleeping on George Kirby either. BA ranks the M's farm 3rd, after Tampa Bay and San Diego. Toronto is 4th. The farm is how dynasties are built!
  3. Well s***. I work with a Mireya Hidalgo, must have had her on my mind. Understandable error.
  4. Wow, what an accomplishment.
  5. welcome, young grasshopper
  6. True, for some reason the M's have had bad results with their prospects. But the quantity of elite talent they've compiled, no way they are all duds.
  7. Yes, but it will be temporary. Given the lost pandemic year, expect lots of player movement by June. Half those guys could be promoted to AA in June.
  8. No, not too early. I see all of Manoah, Kloff, Groshans, Martin, Moreno, Hidalgo at A+. SWR in AA. Hard to say about Pardinho, maybe he starts the comeback in low A.
  9. Dunedin becoming the low A is good. Some of the guys in extended can just stay where they are. I wonder if part of the thinking was make the Dunedin facility more effective for player development. With high A going to Vancouver, more facilities for the extended camp.
  10. Evan White's first 1/3 of a season doesn't tell much. He was never an elite prospect. Also, he was a J4L fantasy target.
  11. Not necessarily if the Jays can swoop in and nab Nimmo after Mets sign Springer
  12. M's won't be a loser team for much longer, unless they really f*** up what they've got going on now
  13. Slight edge to you IMO. It's going to hinge on whether 80 grade hit tool Wander performs like his idol Jose Ramirez. If he does, you probably lose the trade. Were you up all night making the deal?
  14. ZIPS put a Ted Williams comp on Soto.
  15. Looks like Acuna Jr. in that pic
  16. Look at the red in the 3B column.
  17. I doubt Ross Atkins reads BJMB.
  18. Here is a ZIPS translation of his KBO stats to MLB. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/ha-seong-kim-has-big-mlb-aspirations-and-projections/ edit - damnit Max!
  19. As I said, Manoah is the closest comp. From the perspective of trade value, certainly.
  20. Manoah would be the closest comp.
  21. Has to be just a money thing, the cost of having a DH in the lineup. The 'purist' argument is BS.
  22. Larnach and Greene side easy for me
  23. There's a price point at which Lindor makes sense. I trust Shatkins to make the right judgement on this.
  24. Yes the $8M was baked into the currently Jays salary total of $70M a few weeks ago.
  25. You didn't answer my question. And I agree both Lindor and Springer is very unlikely.
