  1. I would think a couple of catchers might be sent home with all the catchers they just drafted. You've got Reeves doing very well in Vancouver and he might be good enough to handle Lansing or even Dunedin. They have Custons in Bluefield and Jansen in GCL. We'll see though.
  2. Could be, he just seems like an advanced LHP. I was also thinking that he may have negotiated where he'd pitch into the deal since he only got 75K, just speculating.
  3. Different camera angles also. They also have the camera angle from CF. Looks like a nice stadium as well.
  4. Amazing that they televised a HS game, but I guess since baseball is big in California.
  5. I wonder if he'll start in Lansing or Dunedin given that he seems to be at that level. Maybe this was part of the deal they made, just thinking here 'cause 75K seems low when slot was 300K (?).
  6. It's looking somewhat likely now, isn't it? I mean, they'd have enough to give Bickford slot money and give 1M each to Brentz and Tellez, wouldn't they? Would these guys actually turn down a million bucks and risk under performance or injury in the next couple of years? Even Bickford, what are the odds he's drafted higher in 3 years?
  7. This f***ing AA may pull off signing Bickford, Brentz and Tellez. See this is what this guy is good at. I've said before that he's a good GM on certain aspects of GM'ing which means he's a good assistant GM. We'll see what happens. Oh and this Boyd guy seems like quite a talented LHP.
  8. Just want to know if he's aware of what Syndergaard's doing.
  9. It would be nice if a couple of them fell off. TB and NY keep winning because they can pitch, imo anyway.
  10. Lol. Too bad the team we follow is buried in last place.
  11. I'd like to hear Anthopoulos on Syndergaard.
  12. Is it just me or was that a dumb move by the 3b coach to waive EE to 3rd? It looked like EE had slowed down at 2nd and he was out with a sore hammy? Anyway...
  13. Yeah, no doubt. But I think the overall point would be to deal from strength. If I were AA, I'd see what the market is for guys like Delabar, Janssen and Cecil. You probably won't get much for Wagner, Loup or Perez.
  14. AA should consider that, but this team is probably too concerned about optics to do it.
  15. I guess this selfish move negates his unselfish walk. I call it a dumb move.
  16. I think what he said was that next spring he'd like to go back to starting.
  17. Maybe we're just used to his blunders. At least the names rhyme
  18. It's getting better bro. Nolin only got like 1/3 of an inning or something like that and some relievers got a few innings and then got DFA'ed.
  19. Why should they care? They've never suffered any major consequences for dumping salaries before so they'll keep doing this.
  20. Just like the salary dumped on the Blue Jays last November...except that AA was nice enough to give them actual prospects.
  21. What is not known is how much the increased attendance, interest in the team, merchandise sales, tv ratings, etc. from the Marlins trade means for Rogers vs having a team with the starting rotation in shambles, coming off a horrible 2nd half and likely declining attendance, interest and ratings.
  22. I think if the Jays had gotten Wandy Rodriguez instead of Happ, people wouldn't bring up that trade. Then again, if Rodriguez was struggling or injured, they probably would've.
