    Last 12 months: Red Sox unload a bunch of aging players with bad contracts, sign F/A's with the payroll flexibility, have Bogaerts, Bradley, Webster in upper minors and are fighting for 1st in the ALE. Blue Jays do the opposite.

    I'm hoping Rogers has told AA not to make any (more horrible) moves 'cause he'll be reviewed at the end of the year. Yeah, great f***ing timing, the Red Sox and Yanks were in bad shape, blah, blah. They just got Peavy without giving up either Bogaerts, Bradley or even a guy like Webster. Anyway....

    I just read where the Phillies would insist on Bogaerts being involved. They'll also have Halladay's salary off the payroll in 2013 so you're probably right. If the Red Sox are getting Lee, I freakin' hope they're giving up Bogaerts +.

    Promote him baby! Ok, may sound funny, but he's got really good command. I think he could handle Lansing, maybe a few starts before the season's over.

    I don't think Bautista is very well liked by his team's pitchers. This ump was bad, but he was bad with both teams. Blue Jays' pitchers benefited from some calls as well so you've gotta take that into account although I'm sure Bautista doesn't give a damn if his pitchers get some calls as well.

    Don't know where I or anyone else said otherwise. We said he needs to pull off 1 or 2 trades similar to the good ones he's made not the crappy ones. I've said earlier, I hope he stops eating for enough time to at least trade Oliver and Janssen for the best he can get.

    Escobar trade was another one. He needs to make these types of trades to plug the holes at 2B and C.
