He's the most valuable player in the league, but isnt the best player at his position though? That argument makes zero sense. A player doesnt all of a sudden become more valuable because his teamates aren't as good as the other player's teammates.

I offered Carlos Martinez, Odor who he took really high in the LOD, and Hamilton for Marte and Seimen. Seemed like a better package than Heaney and Jake

They got 2 top prospects and 1 pretty good one for a pitcher with a no trade clause on a 1 year deal, who would only go to about 2-3 teams IRC.

I dont know, I'll be surprised if he doesnt end up winning this deal. Rondon has a nice arm and Hanson is a decent prospect. Hopefully Papeldick has at least 2 more good years in him. With me trying to field a good team this year and the other bottom feeders completely stripped down, there's zero out there. Definitely a sellers market

Its funny because I actually took him in the LOD and I'm still clearly bashing him. He's a decent play with his power numbers as a bench bat against righties, but I'd cringe watching him play every week in real life.

Wouldnt Strome and Marner be a top 2 pick in most drafts though? There's no way Arizona mgmt lets them keep winning games without players being benched

He's having a terrible spring( took 10 seconds to look that up), put up a .690 OPS as a first baseman last year, and has been below average over the past 3 years, how is that good? He's 35 now, he isnt all of a sudden going to improve

We would have been f***ed agasint the bulls even before our team went full retard. At this point all I want is an entertaining match up. Last year's post season against the Nets was the most fun I've had watching a Toronto sports team since...ever. Having the raptors demolish the Bucks ( which I believe they will) and then get blown out against the Cavs will be kinda meh. John Wall and the Wiz or bust. I dont see how they would get the Bulls until the finals.

The bucks are pretty bad. A .500 team in a terrible conference, the Raptors should win that round easily. I hope they play the Wizards. A 7 game series between Lowry and Wall will be fun to watch and worse case scenario..they lose resulting in Casey being fired.
