  1. Well thats also because managers still think inside the box and will use their best pitchers exclusively for for the 8th or 9th inning. In a 5-4 game with 1 out and 2 runners on I'd always have my best reliever coming in, even if it just the 6th inning.
  2. You guys take Bryant and there will be a Amber Alert every hour until he's returned
  3. Leake's sneaky good, Cahil's pretty bad and I couldnt stand the thought of replacing Stroman with Colon who's a likely candidate to have a heart attack this year
  4. In game atmosphere would be a lot more amazing if they stopped treating the crowd as if we all have ADD.
  5. You have to give them credit though for figuring out how to even turn on their computers
  6. Neimi's incredible last night and Bob blows chunks on the IR. This league can go to hell
  7. Our star pitcher tears his knee is a f***ing bunt drill.
  8. You still can't ever mention other team's players. Either way Massai's a G
  9. If the your opponent actually set his lineup, you would have lost assists, hits and blocks instead, won 6-4 rather than the 7-1 blowout and only been 2.5 games ahead of me with you playing the juggernaut.
  10. A good bounce back week and I only win 7-5.. Im gonna end up in f***ing ninth place. Love how the Catass had the balls to call me out for not streaming trash pitchers last year and then doesnt even set his lineups in a league he comishes
  11. I agree. Small sample size and all but the numbers were encouraging. Kept the ball inside the park, K/BB ratio close to 4, opponent wOBA .269, 610 OPS
  12. 2 Homers in 44 innings as a reliever is pretty solid
  13. Basketball is a beautiful game to watch when the ball is moving, players are cutting hard and defenders are getting down and taking pride in staying in front of their man. This team does none of the above. http://hoopshype.com/salaries/toronto.htm Lots of room if Demar gets shown the door out
  14. He'd prefer to go small and get more PT for pylons like Ross and GV. This is a professionally paid coach
  15. Well Estrada was pretty lights out as a reliever last year, I'd probably use him as the closer or in the most high leverage situations. Mostly just pointing out that losing our best relief pitcher has nothing to do with our front office being incompetent.
  16. Give Norris the 5th spot, Estrada to close, Sanchez/Loup/Lopez as the set up guys, problem solved.
  17. Not sure which quote is worse... A: Labeling someone who owns a career 1.054 OPS with runners in scoring position a choker B: Labeling someone selfish who refuses to go outside the zone and set his teammates up for a RBI situation C: Asking a premier hitter in the game to intentionally pop up the ball in the hopes it goes far enough to get the runner home. Im going to go with A since it took me under 15 seconds to verify that Votto has been a better hitter in his career with runners on base
  18. Casey's the ultimate troll. James Johnson is a better defender, rebounder,, plays with more effort and is a better overall offensive player than Ross..yet plays less minutes
  19. If I don't come back this week I'll have a shitload of players to sell off.
  20. Giving up 52% and being outrebounded by 10 again. Gerald Henderson can really go f*** off..
  21. JV was a beast last game, so naturally DeRozan decides he cant have that and comes out chucking again
  22. If Hanley loses SS that would bump Reyes up to second according to this chart
  23. So Reyes is the third best SS, ahead of Desmond. Very nice
