I've got Seattle, Arizona, Pittsburgh and Kansas City, but starting to regret the Steelers pick - what with all the injuries. I was perfect last weekend, but not feeling so lucky this weekend. We'll see what happens.

This is a must in the contract. On the bright side, if there is some truth to this and the Jays end up signing him, he should come much more inexpensively after that s*** season he had last year; and up until then, he was an above average pitcher. Maybe he turns it around. That being said, I hope this is just a BS rumour. Putting aside the loss of the draft pick (which sucks, all by itself), Gallardo is a pitcher who is trending the wrong way; his K rate the last three seasons compared to earlier in his career in Milwaukee, for example. -

I feel like this is a moot point, since the Storen projection is pretty conservative too - as most projections are.

I guess they might as well not even play it, then. Just simulate the thing.

Two things: 1. Relievers are not valued properly by WAR. 2. Revere is projected at 1 WAR by Steamer for next season, whereas Storen is 0.6. That's a negligible difference and WAR is not exact. The trade was about as close to fair as can be in regards to value, but it also addressed a big area of weakness from an area of strength (OF depth). Revere will be missed a little bit, but Pompey/Saunders should do a fine job in his place. I would make this trade every time.
