The article's conclusion of heavily weighing anecdotal evidence over the stats doesn't make sense. If one goes by anecdotal evidence, and this Raptors teams makes it to the conference semifinals against Miami or Indiana (or, somehow, further), then this season could be the Raptors' version of the 1992-93 Leafs season for them (going from piss poor play to the conference finals in one year). I would call that historic and their best ever.
Regardless, Raptors fans have every right to enjoy this season. It has been a good one for the Raps.
