  1. It's ready to go, but I'm not posting it yet because I don't want to get permabanned.
  2. I don't really believe in 'putting a team over the top'. This team is good enough to win a WS. The question should be 'what is needed to get this team back in the playoffs for another kick at the can?'. IMO the answer is two reliable starting pitchers and prayers that the baseball gods continue not to hit the team's vets with attrition.
  3. I think Yost's pen management has been on point all series.
  4. Actually, if Toronto loses this series, it will be the poster child for the "great pitching and defense wins in the playoffs. Teams built on the longball don't succeed" crew.
  5. HOMERUNS ARE GOOD, BUT NOT IN THE PLAYOFFS cf
  6. I don't know what this means, but it sounds familiar for some reason.
  7. King and o2 should be blocked from responding to each other's posts.
  8. Uninformed is better. A broadcaster who was honest about randomness in the playoffs would be fired. This is a soap opera and narratives sell.
  9. Ned Yost is the baseball version of the guy who was an alcoholic and smoked a pack of cigarettes a day for 80 years and lived to be 105.
  10. That was my favourite. Like he's some pop up star.
  11. The Fox crew has been excruciating. They're acting like what's happened has been inevitable because the Royals are the better team, which isn't the case. Play this series 100 times and the Jays roster wins more than half. But according to the crew, the Royals just have more ways to score than the Jays, and are run by master tactician Ned Yost.
  12. I'm probably less invested than you, but I really like watching their team and have all season. I REALLY hate the idea of Ned Yost winning though.
  13. Wow, so the team has no lefties for the rest of the series.
  14. I don't really have a problem with Hawkins being brought in. He's been a quality arm. I just don't understand how Tepera came in with the season on the line. It should have been Lowe or Osuna for a hail mary chance at keeping the lead at 3.
  15. Now Reynolds ranting against position players pitching. Someone shut this fool up.
  16. Harold Reynolds calling Donaldson one of the most improved players in the majors this year. I'm not sure he knows who Josh Donaldson is.
  17. So Lowe, Hawkins, Hendriks, Tepera likely unavailable tomorrow?
  18. I thought I just saw Lowe strike Hosmer out, but that's not possible because Lowe's arm is so dead that he couldn't pitch in the biggest inning of the season. My eyes must be going on me.
  19. Tepera must feel like a sack of s*** right about now.
  20. That was unbelievable. You're down 3, bases loaded, none out. Your season hangs in the balance. And you bring in Ryan Tepera. No words.
  21. Scariest thing about KC's bullpen is that Greg Holland died and its still filthy.
