Cespedes took the best contract he was offered. 1/27.5 and the option to either re-enter the weakest market in years next offseason or stay on for two more years @ 25M per year is not a bad deal. -

NA will work for free agents. Players only get IL eligibility when added to the MLB DL though, so that won't be available until the DL is active.

Are we sure he's a reliever? A healthy Floyd is probably a reasonably effective arm. If they even get 5-10 starts from him before his arm falls off and they have to turn it over to a fresh Chavez/Osuna/Sanchez, that's $1M well spent.
