  1. Anyone want to trade for Zagunis? He's 23, in AAA, has never had less than a 139 wRC+ at any level, and the Cubs are leaving the door open to him catching again. He can hit.
  2. Got it. Like it. Trying to figure out what to do about the farm. I really like Mark Zagunis and don't want to cut him.
  3. I never hated Dinger. North is the guy who's fall I'm enjoying.
  4. Heh, I was pretty angry when Zeke was carried as the 4th OF, but credit where it's due: he's done a nice job this year.
  5. The most interesting question in the case that EE and Bautista walk is regarding Donaldson: extend or trade?
  6. For those of you worried about the pain of falling from playoffs to non-playoffs: it's worse than you can possibly imagine. Dark, dark times. I can't stress how strongly I do not recommend this.
  7. It's hard to see where things should go next year when the only bankable production in the projected 2017 lineup is Donaldson, Pillar, and maybe Travis. That's a lot of questions.
  8. Your guy is already jaysblue's guy.
  9. I want Ronald Acuna. KingKat up, I believe.
  10. Are you asking about the deGrom trade?
  11. He has serious power for an IF prospect, but he's striking out at like a 35% clip everywhere.
  12. Demeritte has really been around the block for a fringy keeper.
  13. I still have 4-5 guys that I think are better than the stat-scouted refuse I've been sifting through at the end of the last few drafts.
  14. I sure wouldn't want to make the call on either of them. Edwin is hot right now, but the K-rate is still up almost 5%, which is scary on a long- term deal for a DH. Bautista is still very good, but has become a liability in the field and his offense is down a bit. Ugh, both guys are still good. Both are in their mid-30s and starting to show it. Both want expensive long-term deals. We have no internal replacement for either. That's why Shatkins gets paid the big bucks.
  15. Great return for Hammel BTW. Frazier and a 1st is huge.
  16. I wish there was some kind of record of good pitchers going to Colorado mid prime so we could see what happens to them, but Ubaldo is basically the only good starter in franchise history.
