No, that's retarded. Often that's a platitude that pitchers spew when their stuff isn't working right and a lot of balls are being put in play. Stroman is not out there avoiding strikeouts lol. -

Homered today! I think he's averaging around an extra base hit per game on his 27 game hit streak. He should be in the discussion for #1 prospect on midseason lists.

If plebs are going to brag about being a thorn in Silvergun's side, I've probably caused him the most grief. Took the division (and his playoff spot) in year 1, and ousted him from the playoffs in year 2. Hopefully I can return to relevance one day

Who is James Fisher? "Austin Meadows has done a good job since being drafted in 2013 but the strikeouts are troubling. As long as the power continues to come he will has a chance to be an everyday regular."(James Fisher) This was posted two weeks ago. Meadows had a 14% K-rate in A+ last year and is at around 17% in AA. Steamer projects his K-rate in MLB right now at 18.5%. We're really supposed to believe that strikeouts are a big red flag for Meadows? Did this guy even know who Meadows was when he answered the question? I get the feeling that BP's staff actually have very little idea about what they're talking about.
