This feels a lot like the shootout in the NHL: nonsensical idea that actual hockey fans hate, but that the league incorporated in an ill-advised attempt to increase their appeal to a broader audience and attract new fans. Nobody is being turned off of baseball because of the odd marathon game. -
No takers on Seth Lugo? Sits 93 with good control and has the highest spin-rate curveball in the majors. A waiver or MiLB upgrade would do it.

I'm kind of despaired by the lack of 1B prospects. I'd like to acquire one, and I keep looking for someone I can flip a prospect of a different position for, but it's Cody Bellinger and Josh Bell, then a bunch of meh like Thaiss and Dom Smith.

I think I'd cut him if I owned him in a 20-team league. Hard to see the path to full playing time with Holliday and Bird also in the mix at 1B/DH. Pretty disappointed with this for my LoD team, but as you say, at least it's an MLB deal. It's crazy that a guy coming off a 41-hr season got just 3M. How times have changed.

Surprised that nobody is offering more than a 4th for Kendrick. Everyday LF in a hitters park, and has eligibility at 4 positions. You'd think somebody could use that on their bench, especially if their 2B or 3b is questionable.
