Some dummy with a late/dirty hit on Ryan Smyth in a men's league.
  2. We open against each other in BORED and DDL.
  3. I fixed the divisions, so the schedule is different now.
  4. I was a bit surprised you made him untouchable but not Rodgers. I guess Urias helps you win this year and Rodgers doesn't.
  5. Tom Murphy out long term with a fractured forum. If these injuries lead to Colorado finally trading Blackmon and cutting ties with Gonzalez, they'll be a blessing in disguise.
  6. Longenhagen posting some comments he received in the chat lol: I actually think he does a pretty good job.
  7. I think everyone understands that the odds are against Glasnow becoming a front-rotation starter. He's probably not going to harness his stuff and he's probably not going to learn a changeup - A Francisco Liriano type starter career or high end bullpen arm are not unlikely outcomes though. And then there's the chance that he does pull the Aaron Sanchez and figure out how to command his pitches.
  8. Gleyber Torres' grades translate to about a .280 hitter with 20 HRs, 3-5 steals, and average SS defense--in other words, very close to what Asdrubal Cabrera put up last year. Should the Yankees be satisfied if he turns out to be Asdrubal Cabrera 2.0? Eric A Longenhagen 1:41 Hell yes, Cabrera has been a big leaguer since I was in high school , that would be a great outcome for Torres and the Yankees.
  9. March isn't devoid of useful information. When a guy displays that he's healthy after returning from something tricky like a broken hand, that's good. And as Dinger says, a high-variance player hitting the ball hard for a month is better than that same player making bad contact and striking out at a 50% clip. If, say, Devon Travis was healthy and mashing right now, people would rightfully be encouraged given a lot of the questions about him that lingered through the offseason.
  10. I don't really understand why Boxy is mocking people for being encouraged that a guy who hasn't played since breaking his hand has come back healthy and is showing signs that the gains last year may have carried over.
  11. Getting pretty excited about the chances for a 20/30 season. Guy crushes the ball.
  12. Desclafani has a UCL sprain. Shut down for at least a month.

If someone started that here they'd be (deservedly) laughed off the forum.
  14. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/2017-top-100-prospects/ Longenhagen's top 100 was released today.
  15. What a frustrating tournament. When the roster is paper thin, you really notice when guys like Votto, Paxton, and Taillon can't be bothered to play. 3-4 innings each from those two pitchers could have made the difference vs. Columbia.
  16. Boxy has finally quit Tyler White.

http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/showthread.php?t=2198137 HFBoards posters are very, very stupid.
  18. Bad baseball acumen + being kind of a huge piece of s***.
  19. Desclafani has elbow soreness and needs an MRI.
  20. ^ Why Gruber gets picked on
  21. Looks like Trevor May will be the spring's 2nd TJS victim.
  22. Fun fact: that girl is now charging a 30K appearance fee.
