  1. 1B is surprisingly awful this draft. A bunch of old dudes who suck and/or might not play full time, and a younger dude who might not play full time.
  2. I believe torontofan's window has expired and GD is up
  3. I'm pretty sure I know who Dinger is taking here.
  4. We kind of already have 5: Politics Thread In The News Trudeau Politics lol Real Time with Boxcar Lol Politics Thread
  5. I really can't believe J4L19 got Garrett Cooper picked 2nd overall in the waiver draft.
  6. Anyone actually hit on more than 1 of these last year? I took Hand, then botched the rest with Hedges, M. Duffy, Mauer, and Clippard.
  7. Seeing as a) the next guy hasn’t picked, the draft hasn’t officially started, and c) I’m incredibly annoyed by the existence of Garrett Cooper, I think it’s fine if you pick someone else if you’re cool with the shame.
  8. Garcia is not opening the season in AAA.
  9. It’s time to let it go man. Steve Pearce is never going to happen.
  10. I think Mikolas was the obvious #1 pick. L54 up.
  11. Apparently the Royals offered Neil Walker a MiLB deal. That’s completely absurd.
  12. I really hope it works out for you. I want a Boxy vs. Jim playoff matchup so bad.
  13. I think this is a fair and reasonable deal for everyone involved. I don't think I would have paid a first to go from Folty to Matz though. Abom certainly has a type.
  14. Didn't someone trade for Gyorko before the cut?
  15. So the rules keep referencing the waiver draft bringing everyone to 25-man rosters. But those were copied from the DDL where everyone has 20 keepers. Is anyone actually opposed to just letting teams use as many of their picks as their roster space will allow them to? This requires less monitoring, and is easier. And like 90% of these guys will be dropped by May anyway. Spittin, if everyone is fine with this it should be added to the rules. Also, the other issue that came up this offseason, draft pick assignment, should be clarified in the rules. Waiver and MiLB picks were assigned the same way, using the following method: -Weighted lottery (5,4,3,2,1) for bottom-5 finishers for the first five picks in the draft. - the last 15 finishers draft in reverse order of regular season finish. - lotteries are only for the first five picks of round 1. All picks in later rounds are reverse order of regular season finish.
  16. If he posts instructions for fixing it before Monday morning, I’ll make the change.
  17. I agree with you. I think it makes most sense to let people decide how many picks they want to use.
  18. That's a good question. We should do what we did last year. If anyone knows for sure what that was, we should go with that. There's NA slots too.
