So the rules keep referencing the waiver draft bringing everyone to 25-man rosters. But those were copied from the DDL where everyone has 20 keepers. Is anyone actually opposed to just letting teams use as many of their picks as their roster space will allow them to? This requires less monitoring, and is easier. And like 90% of these guys will be dropped by May anyway.
Spittin, if everyone is fine with this it should be added to the rules. Also, the other issue that came up this offseason, draft pick assignment, should be clarified in the rules. Waiver and MiLB picks were assigned the same way, using the following method:
-Weighted lottery (5,4,3,2,1) for bottom-5 finishers for the first five picks in the draft.
- the last 15 finishers draft in reverse order of regular season finish.
- lotteries are only for the first five picks of round 1. All picks in later rounds are reverse order of regular season finish.
