I have no idea what the f*** he was thinking. Craig Anderson is 37 years old. If he had put up a 0.920 save% over 55 games, he still wouldn't have made tangibly more in free agency than the 2/4.75 he was inexplicably guaranteed in the fall.

I'm assuming you had acquired it via trade from J4L19?

Bergman is the equivalent to a 4th or 5th rounder at this point. He hasn't panned out as hoped. I just don't understand why they wanted Boedker at all - he's a 3rd liner with a 4M cap hit entering his age-29 season. I'd prefer the 2nd round pick, and it's not even really close IMO. San Jose has reportedly been looking to get out from under Boedker's deal for awhile.
