    Lost in the drama is a BIG TRADE. The Drunks look like top tier contenders now with deGrom heading their stuff. Eloy is one of two prospects I would not trade even for an elite ace though.

    I don't think Dalton Pompey makes it to April with the org. He's 26 next year, I'm pretty sure he's out of options, and he certainly hasn't established that he deserves to hold a 25-man spot all year.

    The Jays have a policy of not insuring contracts. But I don't know how this works - if Colorado had a policy on his contract, I don't know what happens to it after Tulo is traded.

    They waited way too long to tear it down. Off the top of my head, the only really interesting piece they received in the tear-down was Yusniel Diaz, and he profiles more as a league-average COF than a star player.

    Yikes. That's a bad return for 2.5 years of a solid average SP who touches upper 90s.

    Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Pitcher with no MLB service time who can spend his option years providing depth, starting immediately. More than I expected for Loup.
