I guess I mean not bad in the context of the current climate. Nobody is commiting longterm to league-average corner bats in their 30s because at the first sign of decline, anywhere in their game, they’re no longer full-time players. Guys like Moose will have to maintain their skills into their 30s and earn their living a year at a time. If Moose maintains his skills, he makes his 40-50M from 2019 to 2022.

Richard, Shoemaker, Morales, Pillar, Stro, Sanchez, Tepera, Galvis, Smoak, Travis, Grichuk, and Phelps are all multi-year vets at or approaching 30 years old. All of them will be on the team. Stro is a blowhard.

So to summarize Stroman's thoughts: - he's upset that the team hasn't offered him a long-term contract, even though he's two years from FA, just missed half the season with shoulder and blister issues, and pitched to a 5.5 ERA when he was on the mound - he seems to think that he provides value by 'embodying the city of Toronto' in ways that other players just can't do - he's concerned about the lack of vetrin presents on a team that's finally getting younger after consecutive years of crusty veterans losing 85+ games - he thinks replacement-level player and noted ******** Carlos Gomez would be a solid addition Stroman needs to be a lot less eager to share his thoughts.

I'm sorry, but being that fat as a professional ball player at 19 is unacceptable. He'd clearly be a better player if he dropped 40 pounds. Dude's gonna be a f***ing whale by 30.
