  1. J4L19 can't see yahoo, and my draft is done so I'll pick for her.
  2. A bit surprised here. I would have expected Davis or Pompey to be above Smith on the chopping block.
  3. f*** it I'm leaving now. You're in for a world of pain in 5 hours.
  4. I thought it had been hours. Didn't see the Greene pick.
  5. This is interesting. If the trade stands, the trade window rule is dead going forward. This is why njh gets paid the big bucks.
  6. I'm pretty sure everyone has been in some stupid argument that looked something like what happened in the video before she fell of the chair. People clutching their pearls over it are massive hypocrites.
  7. Actually the FG comments are a breath of fresh air. People saying this are getting upvoted, and virtue signallers are being downvoted into oblivion.
  8. Come on BBBB, sack up and show Spanky and I what’s what.
  9. Has littlemoon been PM’d?
  10. So Sheryl Ring wrote up the Larry Baer incident, but FG wouldn't embed the video on account of it being 'too disturbing'. What a terrible website.
  11. Draft isn't for 10 days. You have lots of time. Just PM me your e-mail.
  12. Abom wants Buttrey. I want Hirano. Torontofan up.
  13. I've considered it a minor miracle that people have actually respected the 1-hour rule in these leagues for the past 4-5 years and not just used draft-and-trades to get around it. Let's not ruin a good thing, K?
  14. Hurl gets Lyles as per his instructions. I'll PM Ling34.
  15. You can only make trades in the first hour of your window.
  16. Dinger's window up at 11:54 AM
  17. He's still going to mash and be a lot of fun to watch, but it's hard not to be frustrated by the value he's leaving on the table. He's literally obese, and he's not going to be the defender or baserunner he'd be if he were fit, and might not stay on the field as often. As great a prospect as he is, imagine a 200-lb fit Vladdy. We'd be looking at a monster with the bat with the possibility for plus defense at 3B long term and at least average baserunning. It's a shame, because he had all the resources in the world available to him from the time he was born.
  18. Somebody stop this man
  19. Boxy come and get your boy
  20. Meh. He’s probably going to have to be rostered through next year’s cut before reaching the majors. Possibly also the cut after that.
  21. Gaviglio struck out more guys, walked fewer, and induced a few more ground balls. I get that he's 5 years older than Borucki and doesn't throw as hard, so we can still dream on Borucki being becoming a rotation mainstay, but Gaviglio handled himself well last year. Until Borucki actually does take that next step (or Gaviglio loses another tick on his fastball) these aren't dissimilar arms as far as utility and ability.
  22. I'm not really convinced. Gaviglio has been better in AAA, and was arguably better in the majors last year. I think he's worth keeping around, especially given that he has an option. If the team ever does go with an opener for a rotation spot, he's the kind of guy who can come in after and give you 3-4 acceptable innings.
  23. Is Gaviglio tangibly worse than Ryan Borucki?
