It's especially s***** because it's been close to a worst-case season for all of their regulars outside of Trout, Ohtani, and Ward: Marsh - corner OF who doesn't hit the ball hard Adell - might not even be an MLB player Walsh - mediocre contact catching up to him, looks like a run of the mill platoon 1B Rendon - broken Syndergaard - stuff is gone and now looks like a league average starter with huge health risk Detmers - sucks? They have like 3 players they can rely on in 2023. I don't see how any path but a complete tear down makes any sense.

I think there's a decent chance he's eventually close to a league average hitter who steals 30 bases and plays everywhere, but this year he's a complete black hole.

Yeah, his offseason was horrible. Not sure what went on in Oakland, but they got next to nothing of value in the teardown. -
