He was worth 2.6 fWAR this year in his age-29 season. You can't project 2.2 wins per year over the next 5 years. There are much cheaper ways to add a 2-win OF to the roster.

Kind of sad how costly this season was for TB. If they win 10-15 more games, he probably stays. The challenge of competing on a small payroll is a lot less fun when things don't go your way.

I'm legitimately surprised you guys couldn't find a deal. Hurl has 3 excellent 3B, and you're a contender with a big 3B need and a lot of assets. Thought for sure you'd make a deal.
