  1. 2015 I expect the least from Keuchel.

It's not just you. You'd think rolling with Turris/Zibanejad/LEgwand down the middle would make people appreciate Spezza.
  3. Estrada looks like the best right-handed reliever in the pen (2nd if you're into Sanchez - not looking to start that debate). I think they'll want him in high-leverage situations.
  4. There isn't really a point to holding Norris back as things currently stand. It would just be nice to add a Billingsley/Beachy.
  5. I'm concerned about the rotation. If Norris is there to start, you have Estrada as a possible useful guy and nothing after him you'd expect to be above replacement-level. At least Dickey and Buehrle are about as close you can find to locks for 200 innings.
  6. It's the same thing every year. Everyone who can feasibly contribute to the 25-man is there opening day instead of bringing in decent stop-gaps and saving the depth for AAA. It's the thing that annnoys me the most about this management group.
  7. $6 million left in the budget. Why is Navarro still here?
  8. Basically a Worley/Odorizzi challenge trade. I like the Odorizzi side better.
  9. You of all people would never use this word about a guy who started 14 games last year if he weren't on your fantasy team.
  10. Danny Salazar is the best pitcher in baseball.
  11. Price Lackey Shields Carrasco Cain Porcello Vargas Not upgradeable.
  12. We'll know soon enough. Dirks is probably going to be somewhere in the vicinity of average offensively, so if he looks spry out of spring you keep him. If he plays the OF like 2013 Melky you abandon ship with the quickness.
  13. He certainly could be good, but I'm expecting nothing from him. He was already a guy who lived on the margins with a league-average bat and questionable defense. If the defense isn't close to average, he's worthless, and I'm not comfortable betting on his D at 29 coming back from disc surgery.
  14. The OF is a concern. If Pompey sucks, Pillar plays everyday. If Pompey sucks AND Bautista/Saunders miss time...

Forgot about Gardiner. Was thinking Lupul-Beauch.
  16. Payroll is still comfortably under last year's. I wonder if the media takes Beeston to task if that remains the case. Probably not.

    Seguin-Corlborne-Steen Beauchemin-Hamilton Rask Not bad.
  18. No McGowan, for the love of god.
  19. Janssen < a few other guys on the market, but Janssen @ 5 > nothing. I wonder if there's any more cash.
  20. Well, if you're a glass half empty kind of guy, he's like 20 game sunder 0.500 through 5 years, has topped out at 85 wins, and has an old team that will be impossible to maintain under the current payroll, and that's if their best players continue to age without any signs of decline.
  21. A 20 foot increase in FB distance is significant.
