  1. In on one.
  2. I don't really see that as Smokey getting rekt, or even being wrong. Not seeing upside in Hutch beyond a 2-3 win 2/3 starter is a pretty valid stance.
  3. Thx. Thought about going 3 relievers, but I don't trust Butler at all, and Davis' career 0.353 wOBA vs. RHP could go a long way to covering Util if country breakfast legit sucks now.
  4. So my official 20 keepers: Ramos Abreu Kendrick Headley Bogaerts Crisp Trumbo Choo Buter Davis Jennings Wainwright Lester Iwakuma Fister Kennedy Shoemaker Keuchel Robertson Davis
  5. The guy who just dropped a replacement-level season is a 3-win player?
  6. This seems unlikely to me. Not really buying Norris in a non-platoon role either.
  7. Not good IMO. They're going to be bad at C, 1B, SS, 3B and possibly 2B.
  8. He has, but not to the point where he's a bad player or not worth his contract. If the bat falls below average, or the defense continues to slide, the contract becomes an albatross.
  9. I thought I'd love watching him, but I really, really don't. It's just so ugly when things go wrong - people start laying off the knuckler, the walks start, and then Dickey goes back in the zone and gets taken deep. He gets that stupid defeated "how could this happen to me" look on his face, and leaves the game with 3 ER in 6 innings after cruising through 5. I appreciate the overall contribution, but watching him pitch is tough.
  10. Reyes has earned his keep so far, but I think a lot concern lies with what could happen if he slows up a bit.
  11. Josh Donaldson will be in the same boat - 33 entering free agency.
  12. After 2008 he signed a 4-year deal with two option years.
  13. Shields Kennedy Ross Cashner Johnson/Morrow/Despaigne/Erlin Pretty good.
  14. Can Ward will have to bring it tonight.
  15. I wonder if Elias gets a rotation spot. Felix/Kuma/Paxton/Happ are locked in. They probably take Walker over Elias if everyone is healthy.
  16. I have a hard time seeing him try again next year. 33 years old, just turned in an excellent season, his 8th in a row with 200 IP. He's also the 3rd best starter available on the market this year, whereas next year's is stacked. The stars should be aligned for a big pay day.
  17. It feels like every time a player's value drops by tens of millions from his perceived market value, the team that gets him on a perceived bargain deal end up regretting it. Swisher, Bourn, Ubaldo come to mind. Shields' value, based on what we know, should be in the 5/100 range. Why isn't it?
  18. I'm surprised at Gudas being considered at keeper.
  19. That's what I get from him.
  20. JFaS just got owned lol

If Don Cherry uses this as a reason why you shouldn't draft 'gangsters' will he finally be taken off the air?
