  1. I hate when people say we bashed it in hindsight. We f***ing ripped that deal a new one immediately when it happened. Jesus Christ.
  2. Tampa Bay is a real wild card threat. And NYY is a good sleeper.
  3. While I put similar, the team will probably be worse. The 2016 team was projected for 86 wins and 2017 team for 84, but looking at position for position, it's not too different aside from Edwin gone. I feel the improved pitching depth will save this team from being much worse than it was last year.
  4. I guess it depends, if you got a guy that no one knows or gives a s*** about and turns out to be a serviceable player or better. You'll look like a genius. The best part about this is that there is no real consensus outside maybe the top 5.
  5. IMO, the issue with Winker is that his power has completely dried out this past year. If he doesn't get that power back, he doesn't offer much in the way of fantasy value as a corner OF other than avg and/or OBP. At least Margot and O'Neill have the power or speed potential going for them.
  6. Damn, De Leon with the Top 10 finish! Thanks Cyborg! Easily the best baseball prospect list on the web.
  7. Understand that POV, but his great contact skills and potential fast track to the majors should be valuable IMO. Especially in a deep league like LOD.
  8. His power potential as a fantasy prospect would make him more valuable IMO.
  9. This is an excellent list so far. Only things that jump out to me are Demeritte being so low, Hayes over Hunter Dozier and Thaiss being so low.
  10. Yes, he would probably take less than 3 million and could easily become a 3.50 FIP reliever.
  11. For real, had injuries last year, but otherwise a sinkerballer machine that averaged a mid 3 xFIP over the last 4 years.
  12. That video where the Jays are critiquing Barry Davis' baseball skills, Ryan Goins is laughing at his hitting ability, and I can help but think of throwing stones from glass houses.
  13. 2014 they basically rushed him right through the minors to a september call-up. He spent less than 200 AB's in Double A. He could've turned stalled out either way, but AA basically rushed him through the minors that year and like you said, really shouldn't have put him on the ML roster in 2015. After they sent him down, they put him in AAA, he didn't hit well for like a month IIRC, sent him to AA and then back to AAA. It was pretty wishy-washy handling of his development IMO.
  14. You could argue that he heavily f***ed with Pompey's development as well.
  15. They've upgraded by not having Thole by default.
  16. Really good deal for Tampa.
  17. If you like a prospect because you like his dad, rather than his own merits. That's pretty suspect to begin with.
  18. In the 2014 offseason the FO only answered screened questions because they knew they were gonna get shat on. The only difference at least that criticism was legitimate, now they're probably gonna have to deal with mouth breathers complaining about dumn s***.
  19. Depends what you think of Mallex Smith. If he hits like he did in the minors, the Rays have a solution right there.
  20. Archer Cobb Odorizzi De Leon Snell That's a fantastic rotation, and could quietly be one of the best ones in baseball.
  21. Nope nvm. I'm f***ing dumn.
  22. Didn't Blanton retire? EDIT: Yes he did.
