  1. The Jays and the rest of the league saw him plenty last year.
  2. Going through that section, it was poorly worded. For most of AA's tenure he went with high school pitching predominately early in the draft. But he started going with a lot of college players later in his tenure.
  3. No, he said the last few years that the Jays targeted mostly college pitchers. He's guessing the new regime isn't going to go with the high upside prep pitchers in the draft anymore.
  4. Sounds like Weams was right after all...
  5. Dat pachient approach!
  6. f*** Steve you beauty.
  7. The last 3 innings were what you'd expect from Estrada. As usual so goddamn fun to watch.
  8. This guy knows what's up.
  9. Harper with another opening day HR. Basically every single opening day he's played in, he hits a HR.
  10. He started throwing a slider in 2012.
  11. Longo's got a different swing this year compared to last years. His follow through is noticeably different. Still smooth as f*** though.
  12. 85 wins. I just cannot see this team making 90 wins.
  13. AL 2017 MVP: Trout CY YOUNG: Verlander ROTY: De Leon MANAGER OTY: Scioscia WORLD SERIES REP: Red Sox NL 2017 MVP: Syndergaard CY YOUNG: Syndergaard ROTY: Garrett MANAGER OTY: Mackanin WORLD SERIES REP: Cubs
  14. Oh people thought Gose had power, he had a 55 power grade IIRC and had above average ISO all up to double-A.
  15. Definitely need to try for Beer.
  16. I totally get your gripe with Gibbons. But IMO at this point, evidently players enjoy playing for him and management enjoys him as well. Getting rid of him would likely cause more harm in the clubhouse than good than by hiring a more sound manager. Getting rid of Gibby after 2 deep playoff runs also sets a bad precedent that success is not rewarded in the organization and could prevent players or other regarded FO associates from wanting to work there. Also, really you look at a lot of managerial decisions basically in every game and you realize that it can get much worse than Gibby. And there's really only a handful of options that I can think of that would be better than Gibbons tactical-wise.
  17. Eh, we could do worse.
  18. Congrats bud, and best of luck.
  19. Oh yeah, I'm well aware, I should've added deservingly.
  20. Well I'd be pissed off too everyone called me dumn on just about everything I said. But don't go all keyboard warrior, you just keep digging a bigger, more hilarious hole for yourself.
