    It certainly downgrades his handsomness factor. Although I don't think he had a good one to start with.

    Taylor was seen as a guy who was resting on previous laurels about his hitting, he grew too big and too slow for a CF. Phillies' 4th best prospect. You consider Becerra in the deal as well, but he's basically so far off the majors right now.

    Value relative to the pitcher they gave up? Or just prospect value?

    Unfortunately he did assess, but it was a terrible one, if he really wanted to trade our top 2 prospects away, they should've actually got someone younger and a better chance of staying with the org longer.

    Uhhh, yeah, they did, if I cared enough, I could dig up some quotes of Keith Law and Kevin Goldstein saying in their writeups that scouts saw him as a potential/likely bullpen arm. People seem to criminally underrate his changeup and his new slider looked really good, especially in the new videos of him pitching for St. Lucie.

    I know Peterson can definitely hit and make contact, that's all he's done in college, however, that's all he can do, and if he can't hit very well at the majors, he's utterly useless. From the video I've seem from Meadows (the All-America ones on Youtube), he's got a bit of a long swing and apparently he does swing and miss a lot, Frazier has better bat speed.

    I remember Vernon Wells' 2011 OBP and I thought no one could get any worse, since they would've been benched a long time ago. Lol

    But his good looks might set the bar a little higher. Posey's a looker himself, but AA sees beauty in JPA that no one else can see.
