Luckily I started watching baseball around 98/99 when Delgado started his peak.
The guy was a monster, and when he swung, it probably scared pitchers senseless. Should he be in the hall? If his peak was a little bit longer, or a bit better, then it would be a yes, sadly that is not the case. He's close, but not good enough. Voters may like that he hit a good number of bombs, or that he didn't look like he was on 'roids, which either reasoning is fallacious. But in the unlikely event if he does get voted in, I would be ecstatic fully acknowledging that I'm being a hypocritical twat.
I don't care, he was my first baseball hero.
