    I really don't care much at this point. Even if they do a bang-up job, there's no guarantee that the players they get will even offer positive value, either directly or through trade. Especially trade.

    He could've had a walk rate slightly below 4 and the diminished K rate he had would still leave me worried.

    The Thomas deal turned out great, he was their best offensive player in 07, I'm not certainly not arguing that, but '08 was no doubt just a disaster.

    That was more of Gibbons' doing. Aside from the Ryan deal, I think that mess-up with Thomas in '08 also f***ed him over. I used to think he was a totally s*** GM, but knowing the things I do know compared from back then, it's tantalizing to think what he could have done with a decent payroll.

    Just my two cents, the Jays should take Gettys or Davidson with one of their top two picks. Davidson's got a great swing, with some serious power to boot.

    The difference is, the Rays know when to sell high to replenish their pipeline of talent. Plus, their minor league system does quite suck, only Guerreri and Romero are the only good prospect to me, but at least their major league team is loaded with young talent.

    Yep, most of the high upside arms the Jays have are 4 years away at best, provided they pan out at all. And Sanchez can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn.

    Luckily I started watching baseball around 98/99 when Delgado started his peak. The guy was a monster, and when he swung, it probably scared pitchers senseless. Should he be in the hall? If his peak was a little bit longer, or a bit better, then it would be a yes, sadly that is not the case. He's close, but not good enough. Voters may like that he hit a good number of bombs, or that he didn't look like he was on 'roids, which either reasoning is fallacious. But in the unlikely event if he does get voted in, I would be ecstatic fully acknowledging that I'm being a hypocritical twat. I don't care, he was my first baseball hero.

    Where the f*** is Tim Raines??? So Glavine makes it in, but Mussina only gets 20% of the vote, same with Trammell. Jesus Christ.
