  1. I expected this s*** from Angrioter. You were the last person I expected to post this s***.
  2. Max Pentecost Rank: 19 Kennesaw State, Junior Height: 6'2", Weight: 190 Position: C DOB: 3/10/1993 Bats: R, Throws: R Prev. drafted: 2011, 7th (234) - TEX Scouting Grades: Hit: 55 | Power: 45 | Run: 50 | Arm: 55 | Field: 50 | Overall: 55 Though Pentecost required surgery to repair a stress fracture in his throwing arm as a high school senior, the Rangers still drafted him in the seventh round in 2011 and nearly signed him. His decision to attend Kennesaw State could make him the first college catcher selected in 2014, as he's coming off a summer in which he was MVP of the Cape Cod League and led the premier college summer circuit with a .962 OPS. Pentecost, a rare catcher who could have average or better tools across the board, has a chance to hit for solid average and power. He has a quick right-handed bat, and while his hitting skills have been more evident than his pop, he did hit six homers on the Cape with wood bats. His receiving skills still need work, though Pentecost should be able to remain behind the plate. He has the requisite arm strength for a catcher, though he can improve his accuracy. He runs better than most backstops and has average speed overall.
  3. Jesus Christ, people who would say that with seriousness should not reproduce.
  4. Boobies always age well, until you're like....over 60-65.
  5. What is this? A bullpen pitcher not named Casey throwing strikes?
  6. I love now that the team is doing well, the fan majority believes that Gibby has nothing to do with it. Those platoons and switches just arrange themselves now.
  7. The question remains: why the f*** do people keep going on the old forum anyway? It's a cesspool.
  8. Seems most likely, maybe the innings pitched is starting to catch up?
  9. You mean relief pitchers aren't consistent?
  10. xFIP and SIERA make up for that....and Alvarez is beating Beuhrle by half a run still. And he's making 14 million less. Gotta apologize to jjipidy though, I said Alavarez was gonna be utter garbage, he's legitimately proving me wrong.
  11. Holy f***, herpderp is actually kilace, I just shat a brickhouse.
  12. Really good, but it's not like the state of MiLB players has been talked about before, I remember that documentary that was made a couple years back. Even if you are playing baseball and getting money, what difference is that working a part time job that you like, but you're simply not getting enough to get by? Let alone get proper nutrition.
  13. Lol, do you see it?
  14. I really hope so, but if he's still struggling with fastball command at this point then that's pretty worrisome. Who knows? I might be totally wrong on this one.
  15. At least I'll be steadfast, unlike you whom before this season was parading how s*** the team was gonna be and now you've joined the Jays ball-washing and Rays bashing as well. You just keep posting your .gifs
  16. The 1962 Mets lost their division by 60.5 games. And that was only modern history.
  17. There's much more butthurt in this thread from the rabid Jays fans here than the Rays guys. Lmao, holy s***.
  18. As super moderator of.this fine board.you are hereby obligated to listen to that nasally voice and provide cliff notes. We're waiting.
  19. The stats are a pretty big deal though, especially with his command issues. We don't know if he'll fix them or not.
  20. Friedman held out GMDM to get Wil Myers as well to get Odorizzi. I don't know about you, but that deserves praise. But let's say that Friedman just held out and the Royals offered that. What makes that any different than a GM who sells off a pitcher to a team for prospects, like for example....Halladay to the Phillies?
  21. McCarthy could be a good idea, especially given Towers is pretty damn stupid and could be had for (relatively) cheap.
