  1. 30 IP out of like...70 for a reliever. Max Almost half a season for a position player.
  2. Mike trout has an ISO of .453 over the past month. I'm in so much love.
  3. In this case, especially since asking around is one of AA's strengths, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he did all of that before he made the trade.
  4. He's been ok, shows flashes of intelligence, especially with some of the trades...but he's just too damn inconsistent, especially with roster management and depth. Could do better, could do worse.
  5. I know brah. Stop sitting on the deal Bibby, or whatever the f*** your name is
  6. Brentz has done nothing to improve his abysmal control and the fact that we're talking about what a reliever has done years ago given their volatile nature. Jesus Christ, this is not the deal to s*** on.
  7. Wow, a lotta f***tards today. This deal carries practically zero risk for a guy whom has incredibly safe peripherals.
  8. Our relievers usually do, everyone's selective memory only remembers the time they blow it.
  9. You spelled "dyke" wrong.... Should be expected though.
  10. Lefty/lefty matchup, Hosmer sucks vs. lefties. aaaand there you go.
  11. Not singling you out (you pointed out coincidence) but I'm sick and tired of dumn references to 92/93 teams.
  12. I don't think you can, that place censors dissent more than North Korea.
  13. Not to excuse the ump, but that was horribly received by Dioner.
  14. It's all about the control, if Price had the same contract, he would've gotten the same haul.
  15. That's a perfectly fine question. Morrow is a recent example, however the two disparities are coming closer together, and Morrow only has 768 IP under his belt. Only 30 points apart now. Strasberg is a more extreme example, since he K's so many and doesn't walk a lot, but still a lack of IP: 710. I think the best example here is Javier Vazquez: career 4.22 ERA and 3.75 xFIP and a plenty large sample. Still, that's a far cry from Hutchison's ERA-xFIP disparity. EDIT: Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson could qualify as well, but again, you're dealing with extreme cases.
  16. His ERA is 90 points higher than his xFIP...in only 350 career innings. His BABIP is .351, with a 65% strand rate. I can't see why you wouldn't buy it.
  17. http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Seinfeld-Laughing-with-Cigar.gif
  18. It's already been made.
  19. They had to suck balls to get Machado. So uhhh, take that!
  20. Lol, an orioles fan approved of the trade. "Art Vandelay"
  21. Labourt is a lottery ticket, buy Boyd plays the role of depth. Sone thing the Jays have been lacking. Of course when you don't use that depth, that's a whole other story...
  22. Yes, but when you get guys like tulo and say that you wanna stay competitive for a while, you don't add a handicap to your future, especially when the rental doesn't guarantee a one game playoff, let alone an ALDS berth for this year.
  23. Not a fan. Giving up a high end talent and depth for a chance to make a one game playoff. Terrible risk for value. Of course if they go deep into the playoffs...
