    I agree completely, and it's pretty bad that you went through so many doctors until you found one that gave you a Halter. In the case of the fat kid with asthma, he should still get his inhaler, but your previous point is correct in that he should be put through a lifestyle intervention to try and control his weight.

    My point still stands. It's better than to be wrong and have the meds there than to be skeptical and blame the weight then the kid dies cause he actually does have asthma.

    Wouldn't you rather over diagnose something like asthma instead of underdiagnosing it and them someone dies because they don't have access to meds? I also have asthma and the thought of not having my own inhaler on me during an attack is a scary thought.

    If you are unfortunate enough to have a full time job. FTR, I would only recommend for the times you really need it (3 small cups a week is my max), otherwise it loses its kick.
