    The thing is, it's fine if the guy has the stuff and tools, but the tools narrative will only get you so far. You get some leeway, like what Hoffman is getting so far. I've yet to see anyone completely s*** on him. But if he keeps pitching like this in the future, f*** it, I don't care if you have all the stuff in the goddamn world, I wanna see results. That's what lots of these guys are alluding to. Plus stats by themselves don't tell the whole context, I'm not gonna get excited by a 26 year old in high A on his 3rd go round putting up good numbers.
