It's actually incredible that their offense isn't one of the worst in the MLB thus far. Their luck has to run out at some point but by then they may have reinforcements on the way. -
I have a good feeling about tonight. I think our bats will continue the current trend.

This is the problem with Wilner. It used to be funny when he ripped fans apart, but now its old and tired. He goes into every call assuming the caller is an idiot and there have been times callers have made valid points, but Wilner just has to play the homer card and try to make them look stupid. He pretty much just says the same thing over and over and doesn't really offer much insight at all other than throwing out basic stats that anyone can lookup. He simply caters to the general fan who have limited understanding of the game and no knowledge of advanced stats. People like that eat this s*** up and that's really all that matters from his perspective.

I thought he was ok to keep playing? DH him and platoon Lind/Boni in LF. Horrid D, but Gibby has to get Lind's bat in the lineup right now while he is seeing the ball well.

7 games isn't impossible to overcome. Only about a quarter of the way through the season, the Jays still have plenty of time to right things. Another good series against the Yanks and things start to get interesting again. -

No one could have asked for this. It's pretty great. Our pen gets to rest today and tomorrow and be ready for the Yanks this weekend.

He is on pace for about 40 or so right now. I agree his peripherals are god aweful, but when he does make contact he crushes the ball. The sad thing is he could be a pretty good OBP guy the way pitchers seem to pitch him this season, but its almost like he tries to avoid the walks at all costs.

GM's fall for this type of s*** all the time. If you don't watch a player play everyday you tend to focus more on the offensive than the defensive stats.

The problem is then you lose Lind's bat. Melky should DH against LHP and play LF against RHP.
