If this team continues this run they are currently on it will start to get interesting. First goal is to get to .500 and it probably needs to happen by the end of June.

If AA can get some good value for Rasmus than I am all for moving him. Not sure how much he will make next season but around $7M? That would certainly help towards the overall payroll and provide this team some more assets for the minors that could either contribute as added depth or be flipped for other needs on the major league roster. That being said, I would be shocked if he was moved. AA won't risk taking a chance like that at this point. -

I predicted both Lind and Rasmus would have big seasons. Not so much for Cecil though, I was wrong on that. -
Yeah, overall this is a pretty solid pen. Janssen, Cecil, Loup and Delabar is a pretty solid back of the pen and Wagner looks like he may be another one if he can continue the way he has. Perez has been good too but I think his wildness is going to catch up to him.

That is an understatement. This team could possibly Orioles it's way next season with how good this pen might be.

We have a better option rotting on our bench. AA needs to get JPA the f*** off this team.

I think they can and possibly will. I don't believe this team truly has a cap because of who owns them and what value they bring to them. This isn't just a simple ownership, this team is owned by a company that uses them to market their products, owns the networks that they gain advertising revenue from during their games, owns the dome, etc, etc... The money is there if it can be justified and winning isn't necessarily the only thing that will justify spending. More money will mean more publicity.

That extra money is chump change to Rogers. They will easily cough that up if they believe the Jays can bring in more advertising revenue for them which seems likely.

This team still has a huge following with terrible play. Rogers will spend. People can say I am crazy, but I bet I am right on this. This team is a huge marketing asset for Rogers.

It either came from Beeston or Rogers, in either case, I still believe Rogers will spend. I think people really undervalue what a contender means for Rogers.

The thing is, this group is close, we just need some more durable pieces. This team is fragile as s*** and it sucks knowing that they could perform if guys could stay healthy.

No doubt Ken. He certainly will shop those guys, I am referring more to guys that are under contract next year and beyond. If he can net us some assets for expiring contracts it will go a long way to helping our farm after he decimates it in the winter.

Beeston will be on the last year of his deal, I bet he puts up a big case for added funds. If this team gets back to respectability, then they may very well have a case to make. Not advocating this, just thinking about it from AA's perspective.

He should be but won't. If he does that I bet its career suicide for him. He has to get something out of this and I really think he is aggressive this winter and makes a few bold moves to shore this team up. If that fails, then yeah, blow it up and find a new GM.

I am in that state in quite a few leagues right now. What hurts me is that I really think I could have had a significant team in the FC this year, but right now I am fighting for dear life to stay in the mix.

This team needs good Dickey tomorrow. This could very well be the run we have been waiting for. I won't let myself get ahead of myself, but the possibility for this team to improve its standing is right now.
