    You know what? We have infield depth now, the one thing we seemed to lack maybe most last year and first 2/3 of this year. (Well, last year the SP was the biggest problem) Valencia, Tolleson, Kawasaki, and heck even Goins and Francisco in small doses can provide some good service. The offense will be much deeper when EE and Lind are back, if Gibby can then figure out where to use the above guys and get the most out of them. The starting rotation continues to perform well, in large part thanks to the emergence of Stroman. I'd still LOVE another 1/2 caliber guy but it's working fine right now. It's a shame the bullpen is suddenly so rocky - that seems like the weakest link right now. He can't really trust anyone right now.

    Agree on all counts I wish they'd got the Melky deal done over the ASB. We need to hang on to him. The lienup needs the ridiculous stability he provides from the 2 spot.
