    At a certain price point I like him as a BP arm/swing man. But Cecil and Loup are so good, and 6.7M - 0.2M is probably too much for a guy we don't really even want starting 30+ games. There are so many good free agent starters available this off season I'd really like AA to finally nab one. $ saved from Happ Rasmus Morrow Janssen Santos would help a lot in this regard. Won't hold breath though. I like what Happ provided this year but I don't want him in the rotation in 2015.

    Yes they do The problem is they are not completely in control of their own destiny. even if they win 75% of their remaining games, they need at least 2 decent to good teams to play under 500 the rest of the way because we don't get to play Oakland or Detroit head to head any more.

    Really? BA still has him in their top 10 but others don't. Edit: Actually they do but Barnes Owens and even Workman have perhaps leapfrogged him?
