    Tampa OTOH are looking VERY dangerous. They're far enough back of some decent teams that it's a tough go for sure, but even if they can't get a playoff spot it feels like they're going to wreck at least 1-2 teams playoff runs.

Abraham notes that Carp spoke to the Red Sox soon after the All-Star break, but the news of that discussion arrives just after the last-place Sox began trading veterans by sending Jake Peavy to the Giants. +
